The core of our service is our next generation terrestrial and satellite network topology upon which all of our solutions are anchored. Using appropriate elements of our value added product portfolio mixed with different signaling options and care packages, we have created a set of solutions to meet the varying requirements of our clients.
Carrier Solutions are our core business and our services have been designed to cater to the full spectrum of wholesale interconnect businesses. To service new generation carriers of the VoIP era and more traditional PTTs, we have built interconnect capability through almost all transmission types, from E1/T1 TDM delivery to SIP+ and almost any codec type. If it all sounds a little complicated, just relax, the only thing you really need to know is that we will take your satellite traffic, typically thirty lines of a tariff table and get the calls to where they need to be - cost effectively, with the best all round quality in the industry. As a carrier client it is simple to log in to our 'client-zone' and in real time view all of your traffic and tariff information.
Satellite Service Providers are the life blood of the satellite industry. Typically satellite operators, design, launch and manage the 'birds in the sky'. All sales, service and one to one marketing is done through a network of service providers and dealers, ranging from tiny yacht chandlers to large global businesses. Proximity offers dealers a physical IP phone for their offices and a PC based soft phone for their demonstrations from which they can showcase and test satellite equipment at low rates. Furthermore, by becoming a Proximity reseller, these partner businesses can generate extra revenues and customer lock-in from their existing clients.
End User Solutions are made available for retail clients through traditional calling cards, Web-based E-voucher with top up systems and our new PC2phone service which operates in a very similar way to Skype. It is our privilege to be able to carry these small volumes of calls, connecting people to their 'remote' ones around the world with crystal quality connections at great value rates. All of our 'direct to user' services are prepaid and feature a number of value added services such as call recording, speed-dial numbers and international toll free access. As well as our main satellite routes, retail callers can dial anywhere in the world at very attractive rates.
Enterprise & Government Solutions offer very simple Least Cost Routing for businesses and organizations with high volumes of land-to-mobile, often shore-to-ship traffic. Typically our E&G clients come from shipping, natural resources or aid agency backgrounds. Our engineers work with the phone-system maintainers to identify satellite type traffic and how best to route it to our European Gateway. We are able to offer encryption suitable for 'mid level' government and military solutions and where the highest security levels are required we will guide you directly to our satellite operating partners.
